Create your own favicon

Hello everybody,
Today i am show you how to create your own favicon for blog or for website. If you are one of those blogger without a custom icon.. Then, i strongly recommanded to read this article.

What is favicon.?
Actually, a favicon means "favorite icon". Favicon gives a special touchup to the blog/site. It is used to identify visually a website/blog in your bookmarks.

NOTE: Your icon must less than 100KB. And favicon is of square and of 16 x 16 pixel.

In this article... I will give you two method to create your custom icon. So.. let's start:

METHOD 1

Step1. Choose an image

Choose an image with image editor software like; Photoshop, Picsart, Picasa, Photoscrape .etc.. and cut it down to 16x16 pixel square image.

Step2. Edit your icon

Choose first letter or two/three letter for your logo. Always take only first letter so.. it will easily identify. You can also make your background transparent.

Now.. save your favicon as .png, .jpg or .gif.


Method 2

Step1--> Open this website http://faviconist.com/

Step2-->Type the letters which you want to show on that icon. like for techspot4 so i may use; "T"

Step3--> Now.. Choose your style of the font. You also use Bold and Italic effect.

Step4--> Now.. choose your background and foreground.

Step5--> save your favicon!


BUT How to apply favicon?

First login to your account >> Layout option on the left side >> Now click on favicon >> Choose file and save!
